Alma Gentry

Alma has been a vital part of Newton Financial Group ever since its establishment in October 2000. Alma was a registered representative and insurance agent until her semi-retirement in 2021 where she continued to do accounting and administrative projects. Since 2024 she has been back in the office most days helping with the transition to Cambridge. Alma continues to be essential in every aspect of the business, especially in guiding clients through financial pathways following the death of their loved ones. Alma has extensive business management, accounting, and administrative experience which elevates Newton Financial Group to a higher level of service for its clientele.

Alma has profound experience in finance, accounting, management, and administration. Alma has worked in several areas including education, government, managerial, and manufacturing/engineering facilities.

Alma is very involved in her Franklin, KY community. She is active in Business & Professional Women, First United Methodist Church, and Garden and Photography Club, holding offices and serving on local, regional, and state committees and boards on these and several organizations. Alma enjoys playing golf, traveling with friends, reading, walking, and photography. Most of all, Alma cherishes the families of her three daughters, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren along with the rest of her family.
